welcome to Osteria Amarotto, on behalf of my whole family.

Eighty years have passed since my father Luigi opened his first pastry oven, giving way to what would become the tradition, passion and profession of the Amarottos: cooking. And it is precisely the respect and love for our tradition, for the Monferrato food and wine culture and for the quality cuisine that have brought us here today: to the Osteria Amarotto.
In welcoming you with sincere pleasure in our restaurant in the heart of Casale Monferrato, allow us to tell you the spirit of what remains and is strengthened as a true family choice, to make you promises and… maybe even an apology in advance.
We promise you that at the Osteria you will find dishes linked to local cuisine and recipes recovered from the tradition and memory of our elders; we promise you that at the base of every rigorously seasonal proposal you will always find top quality raw materials from the area, furthermore our working method remains, as indeed in the past, under the banner of "expressed" cooking.

The Osteria Amarotto in Casale Monferrato boasts a sixty-year history full of successes and satisfactions: since 1940 the owners of the business have been offering a traditional Piedmontese menu, always attentive to the new needs of the customer and his tastes.

Satisfying the palate of enthusiasts and gourmets has always been the goal of the restaurant's chefs, who create traditional preparations by revisiting the typical recipes and giving them more impetus and flavor.

All preparations are carried out with wisdom, creativity and competence, in order to guarantee the customer a journey of discovery of the typical Piedmontese and Monferrato flavours.

Both the pasta and the desserts are processed and prepared at home, by hand. This is one of the peculiarities that make first courses and desserts an explosion of taste worthy of note. The chefs of the tavern use, for the preparation of all the dishes such as boiled meat, raw meat, bagna cauda and knife-based tartare, only first choice ingredients and extremely fresh raw materials.
